Lineker in Brazil: The Beautiful Game

Brief:

Manage the end-to-end post production for a one-hour BBC Sport World Cup special documentary hosted by Gary Lineker.

How it was done:

Interplay managed workflow with Baselight grade and Pro Tools mix. Production will record a final interview on location in Brazil on the day of TX, requiring a fast turn-around online edit. The main body of the programme has already been graded and dubbed but, because of time constraints, the online will utilise the Baselight AVID plug in, allowing the editor to ‘copy’ the grade attributes onto his timeline. The edit will also use audio stems from the dub to help smooth any awkward transitions. Online editor John Smith said: "It’s an incredibly fast turnaround which we are used to with sport productions, this is just on a bigger scale."
