‘dock10 Live’ Raises Awareness of Mental Health Week

On May 25th, ‘dock10 Live’ brought together local musicians for a family concert to increase awareness of Mental Health Week and raise funds for mental health charity 42nd Street. Held in dock10's specialist audio studio, HQ10, staff and local performers played a mix of music to a live audience with many more enjoying the concert on YouTube. The event brought together dock10 staff, family and friends for the first time since the national lockdown that had such a far-reaching impact on people's mental health. The event also raised over £1,400 for local charity 42nd Street.

42nd Street is a Greater Manchester charity providing support and services for young people experiencing difficulties with their mental health and emotional wellbeing. The innovative charity recognises that many young people feel disempowered and struggle to identify with or access mental health services. 42nd Street's innovative approach offers a choice of effective, creative, young person-centred and rights-based approaches to supporting the mental health of young people across Greater Manchester.
