The Broadcast Awards 2023

dock10 sends its congratulations to all the winners at the Broadcast Awards 2023 and especially to the winning shows made at our facilities, including Moneybags, made by Youngest Media for Channel 4, the winner of Best Daytime Programme and The 1% Club, made by Magnum Media for ITV1, won Best Entertainment Programme and Best International Programme Sales. Congratulations to everyone involved!

Once again, dock10 was also the proud sponsor of the Best Children's Programme. This year, the award was won by Robin Robin, made by Aardman for Netflix. The 30-minute stop-motion musical, a first for Aardman, follows the Christmassy adventures of a robin raised by a family of mice. It was commended by the judges for its ‘first-class’ script and was described as the ‘perfect Christmas treat’.

The Broadcast Awards is the industry's leading television awards and the most hotly anticipated event in the television industry calendar. Celebrating the very best in British programming and channels, the awards recognise and reward the UK's most ground-breaking content, creators and channels. This year, there were more than 500 entries across 23 categories, with more than 100 industry experts making up the judging panels.

The awards ceremony in London on the evening of 8 February was attended by more than 1,300 attendees, including broadcasters, production companies, and post houses. The judges explained that they were looking for shows that demonstrated originality, insight and great storytelling – and they were not disappointed.

Once again, dock10 sends its congratulations to all the winners.
