Woman's Hour to broadcast from MediaCityUK this week
This Friday's edition of Radio 4's Woman's Hour (March 18, 2011) will be the first live broadcast from the new studios at MediaCityUK.
The special show for Comic Relief will feature regular host Jenni Murray alongside comedians including Jo Caulfield, Katy Brand, Susan Calman and Justin Moorhouse.
The studios are operated by Peel Media and SIS and will be used by the BBC when it moves to Salford Quays.
Andy Waters, head of studios at MediaCityUK, said: "We're delighted that the Red Nose Day special for Woman's Hour will be the first live show to come from our new multi-purpose audio studio here at MediaCityUK."
